Built in 1982 by Chris Oniall at Olympic Yachts in Lavrion, on a design by Joubert and Nivelt, she was the second half-toner the sailing team bought. She is the only half-toner to win a World Championship eleven years apart, in 1982 and 1993. The head coach of Emirates Team New Zealand and a multiple Transpac winner first cut their offshore teeth on this little boat.

Reminds us of our teachers and friends who first taught us of the sea.

For most sailors from Attica this happens during the bi-annual Hydra race. At the beginning and end of each sailing season in Athens 90-110 yachts launch into Phaleron bay for the 36 mile sprint to one of the most iconic island in Greece.
