Our seasonal Salty Ornaments are made up of thousands of stories. We gathered them from the cuttings left over from every Salty Bag we ever made, and some we didn’t make. We hate to throw away anything. We also do not appreciate how a festive season often becomes a mindless shopping spree.

So this year we took what was left over, what is usually passed over, and made Salty Ornaments from them. It;s what we do. It’s how Christmas trees, or model boats in Greece, were once decorated. For thousands of years people intelligently, respectfully, practically and diligently reused everything.

We are, slowly, coming full circle in how we reuse, again. These ornaments are a very small part of that, they are upcycled pieces that were left over from our upcycling. They are what we have always done. Please remember to Celebrate our seas.
