The head of the sail is the top part, the highest attachment point. The place where a sail touches its part of the sky. Depending on the boat the head of the sail can be made of sailcloth, metal and sometimes exotic materials. The head of this sail, made of metal shows signs of use way beyond its years. These are the signs of a sail that has been used to the end of its tether. Thankfully it came into our shop so we could give it that just a bit more time…
